Introduction

Getting started with Swyvl is quick and easy. Creating your first project sets the foundation for organizing and sharing spatial data, virtual tours, and maps. This guide will walk you through the steps to create and configure your first project.


Step 1: Log In to Swyvl

  1. Open your browser and navigate to Swyvl Login.

  2. Enter your email and use the magic link sent to your inbox to log in.


Step 2: Start a New Project

From the Dashboard, click on New Project.


Step 3: Search any Location

Use the Search Bar to search for any location in the world, or alternatively zoom to your desired location.


Step 4: Add Your Data

Using the Top Panel add data to your project

  • Shapes: Add points, lines, and polygons as overlays to highlight specific features.

  • Data Tools: Import GeoJSON files, images, or iFrames.

  • Ruler: Measure distances quickly and accurately.

  • Site & Floor Plans: Group data into levels with the visual aid of plans.

  • Local View: Build a 360 photo tour to create immersive virtual experiences.

Step 5: Publish and Share

  1. Once satisfied, click Publish to Viewer in the Builder.

  2. Copy the shareable link to distribute your project to your team or audience.

  3. Optional: Add password protection for private projects.

  • Test Frequently: Preview your project often to ensure smooth functionality.
