Introduction

Getting started with Swyvl is quick and easy. Creating your first project sets the foundation for organizing and sharing spatial data, virtual tours, and maps. This guide will walk you through the steps to create and configure your first project.


Step 1: Log In to Swyvl

  1. Open your browser and navigate to Swyvl Login.

  2. Enter your email and use the magic link sent to your inbox to log in.


Step 2: Start a New Project

From the Dashboard, click on New Project.


Step 3: Search any Location

Use the Search Bar to search for any location in the world, or alternatively zoom to your desired location.


Step 4: Add Your Data

Using the Top Toolbar add data to your project

  • Draw Tools: Add shapes with info boxes to highlight areas or features.

  • Photo Tools: Add visual context to your map with still or 360 photos.

  • Site & Floor Plans: Organize your data by location or level.

  • Linework: Upload and display linework or shapes.

  • Imagery: Add georeferenced imagery layers to your map.

  • 3D Data: Add 3D content for spatial context or visualisation.

Step 5: Publish and Share

  1. Once satisfied, click Publish to Viewer in the Builder.

  2. Copy the shareable link to distribute your project to your team or audience.

  3. Optional: Add password protection for private projects.
