Understanding Storage Limits and Upgrades

Learn how Swyvl storage works, how to check your usage, and how overage is billed.

Included Storage

Swyvl storage limits depend on your subscription plan:

  • Basic Plan → 2GB included

  • Standard Plan → 10GB included

Storage is shared across all files in your Organization — including 360 photos, still photos, site and floor plans, 3D models, imagery layers, and more.

How to Check Your Storage Usage

  1. Log in to your Swyvl account

  2. From the Dashboard, look at the left panel under your Organization name
→ You'll see a quick overview of your current storage usage

  3. For more detail:

    • Click Manage Organizations

    • Scroll to the Storage section

    • You’ll see:

      • Your total included storage

      • Any additional usage beyond your included limit

      • Current usage breakdown

What Happens If You Go Over?

If your Organization exceeds its included storage:

  • Additional usage is automatically billed at $1 USD per GB per month

  • Overage is calculated based on usage at the end of your billing period

You’ll see this reflected on your monthly invoice.

How to Reduce Storage Usage

To reduce storage usage, you can:

  • Delete Projects or Resources you no longer need

  • Re-use existing files instead of uploading duplicates
→ When adding data to a new Project, choose files from your Resources folder rather than uploading them again

📝 Tip: Uploading the same file multiple times will use more storage. If you need to use a file in more than one Project, just re-select it from your Resources folder — it only counts once.
