What types of files can I upload to Swyvl?
Swyvl supports the following file types:
360 Photos: JPEG (equirectangular, 2:1 aspect ratio)
Still Photos: PNG, JPEG
Site and Floor Plans: PNG (convert PDFs to PNG before uploading)
GPX Files: For path-based tours
Can I turn off the map?
The map is an integral part of Swyvl and can't be turned off. However, you can switch between different styles of base map in the left panel under Base Map.
360 Photos
Can I take measurements in a 360 photo?
Currently, Swyvl does not support taking direct measurements within a 360 photo. You can use the measurement tool in the toolbar to take measurements on the map only.
How do I link 360 photos together to create a tour?
To create a seamless virtual tour, use the Scatter View or Path View options:
Scatter View: Manually link photos by entering Edit Pano Connections mode and creating navigation points.
Path View: Upload a GPX file, and Swyvl will automatically link 360 photos based on location data.
Can I add text, annotations, or markers to my 360 photos?
Currently, Swyvl does not support adding text annotations or markers directly to 360 photos. However, you can attach still images, site plans and other resources to your project to provide additional context.
Can I set the start view of a 360 photo?
Swyvl does not currently have the option to set the start view of a 360 photo.

Floor and Site Plans
Can I add multiple floor plans to a single project?
Yes! You can upload multiple floor plans and stack them at different heights to accurately represent multi-story buildings. Use the height above ground-level setting when configuring each plan.
How do I reposition or resize a site or floor plan?
Open the settings for the plan in the Data Sources panel.
Adjust its position, size, and orientation as needed.
Choose whether to clamp the plan to the ground and if data points should be locked to it.
