What Is Point View?
Point View lets you upload and position individual 360° photos at specific locations on your map. It's perfect for showcasing key locations or when you only have a few photos.
There’s no functional difference between Point View and Scatter View — in fact, if you upload multiple Point View photos and connect them using Edit Pano Connections, it behaves just like Scatter View.
🎥 Want to see it in action?
The process of uploading, placing, and connecting 360 photos in Point View is very similar to Scatter View.
Check out our short video tutorial that walks through these steps in detail
Step 1: Upload 360 Photos
In the Builder, click 360 Photo in the toolbar
Choose Point View
Upload your 360 photos (JPEG, 2:1 ratio)
If your photos include GPS data, they’ll be placed on the map automatically
If not, they’ll appear at the center of the current map view
Step 2: Position Your Photos (If Needed)
To adjust placement:
Click and drag a photo on the map
Or open the Properties Panel and manually enter latitude/longitude
Step 3: Add Optional Connections
If you’ve uploaded multiple Point View photos, you can connect them just like in Scatter View:
Enter Edit Pano Connections mode
Click between two photos to add a navigation arrow
Right-click to remove unwanted arrows
Step 4: Adjust Height and Orientation
If needed:
Open the Properties Panel for each photo
In the Placement tab, you can:
Adjust Height — useful when photos appear below the terrain or base map
Set North Offset — this aligns the 360 photo’s direction with the radar cone on the map for better map-to-photo orientation
Step 5: Publish Your Project
Once your 360 photos are positioned and connected:
Click Publish to Viewer
Use Republish after making changes to update the live Viewer
