Once your project is published, you can share it with stakeholders, clients, or the public. Swyvl offers two ways to share: a General Link (starts at the beginning) or a Deep Link (starts at a specific view).
1. The General Project Link
This is the standard link to your project. When users open it, they will start at the Default Start View you set in the Project Settings.
How to get it:
In the Builder, click Publish to Viewer (top right).
Ensure the project is Published.
Click Copy Link.
Paste this URL in an email, chat, or document.

2. Deep Linking (Share Current View)
Deep Linking is a powerful feature that lets you share a specific location, zoom level, or angle. This is perfect for saying, "Look at this specific intersection" rather than "Open the map and find the intersection."
How to generate a Deep Link:
You can do this from either the Builder or the Viewer.
Navigate the map to the exact view you want to share (zoom in, rotate, and tilt).
Click the Share Icon located in the bottom-right toolbar.
This generates a unique URL that captures:
Camera Position: Zoom level, angle, and rotation.
Visible Data: Any resources or layers currently toggled on.
Copy and share this link. When the recipient opens it, they will see exactly what you were looking at.
Important Note: You must Publish the project before you can generate these links. If the project is unpublished, the share icon may not appear or the link will not work for others.
3. Updating Links
General Links: These never change. You can republish your project as many times as you like; the original link will always work.
Deep Links: These are permanent snapshots of a location. Even if you update the project, a deep link will still take the user to that specific coordinate (though the data at that location will be the updated version).
